Autodesk Alias - Technical Consultant

We are currently looking for engineers to provide pre and post sales technical support for our fast growing reseller business. This role includes both pre-sales consultancy visits as well as training and mentoring to our customers.

Technical Skill and Experience Requirements

  • The desire to learn new technologies and enjoy undertaking “hands-on” work with Autodesk and competitve technology. Knowledge and experience in working with Alias automotive, surface and design is required, and knowledge of similar tools from Dassalt or Siemens would be beneficial.
  • A strong working knowledge of A Class surfacing technology, including presales demonstration preparation and presentation as well as post sales implementation.
  • You will have experience of working in the end user environment being able to mentor new workflow’s.
  • Working knowledge of Visualisation products would be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to prepare SOW’s and other documentation such as training documentation is a must.
  • The possession of personal traits like excellent inter-personal skills, high energy, flexibility, self motivation, trustworthiness and dependable and possesses excellent follow through skills.
  • It is essential that you stay abreast of current industry technology, trends, and competition and can communicate this knowledge and information effectively to customers and prospects round table discussions as well as to audience’s at seminars. This includes the ability to impart clearly and effectively this knowledge to both customers and Majenta business teams.
  • You will required to technically manage key customers including account planning.
  • To work closely with the Autodesk technical teams around the world and maintain the currently held Autodesk accreditations.
  • Work closely with the majenta business teams to assist driving new Autodesk related opportunities and the majenta marketing team to assist in preparing and leveraging Customer success stories and web content.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industry

The successful applicant will be based at either our Brentwood or Longbridge office. Naturally, travel will be required to visit customer sites and you must be self-motivated and able to work well with multiple account managers whilst being creative in obtaining information and solving problems.
