Aston Martin Deploy Majenta Exchange Portal

June 3rd, Brentwood, Essex – Majenta’s well proven and globally trusted data exchange portal, Majenta Exchange, has been specified by Aston Martin and deployed both in-house and throughout their network of European supply partners.

The cutting edge design data generated by Aston Martin and exchanged with their European suppliers, had previously been facilitated by a third party data exchange portal, based in the USA. The decision was recently made to adopt Majenta Exchange as a replacement data exchange portal, because of its straightforward usability, ease of integration with current working practice and robustness in coping with large data files. Scalability, reliability and the speed of the Majenta Exchange Portal were all cited as winning features influencing deployment.

Majenta were invited to showcase the Majenta Exchange Portal earlier in the year, which led to a fully supported evaluation period, thus ensuring that full product capabilities were rigorously explored and tested by both Aston Martin and their European supply partners. “During the evaluation period, the full benefits of the Majenta Exchange portal became apparent to our users, with the capability of exchanging large gigabyte files with ease”. Following evaluation, the Majenta Exchange Portal was adopted and deployed by Aston Martin as the new data exchange product successor.
