April, 2012 – Majenta Solutions Ltd., one of Europe’s leading providers of product development, manufacturing and product cost management software and IT infrastructure solutions, has announced membership of the British Plastics Federation, as part of their on-going commitment in supporting Britain’s plastics design and manufacturing industry.
Majenta is an Autodesk® Gold Manufacturing partner, and has made significant investment in achieving Autodesk® Moldflow® reseller accreditation. Also, as part of Majenta’s investment in Autodesk® Moldflow® plastic design solutions, industry expert Neal Symms was appointed, last year, as one of Britain’s leading simulation consultants and accredited training instructors for Autodesk® Moldflow®. Neal introduced a range of new Autodesk® accredited Moldflow® Insight™ and Advisor™ training courses through Majenta’s dedicated training facilities.
Product cost management is another crucial area for British plastics companies, which Majenta address through their partnership with leading cost management software house aPriori. Majenta are positioned to offer the plastics industry aPriori’s innovative and patented technology, which analyses a 3D CAD model, and based upon the material, geometry, production volume and life of a product, will determine the most cost efficient method of manufacture, taking into account material costs, labour , overheads, plant and equipment including tooling.
