We are currently looking for a Sales Account Manager whose role will be to sell the Majenta range of the Network Appliance Storage Solutions, back-up solutions and Technical Support Services into new and existing Enterprise clients within the High Tech industrial sectors. Knowledge and experience in selling the Network appliance product range or competitive products will be a distinct advantage for the right person!

Applicants should be enthusiastic and self motivated and be able to demonstrate a proven successful track record in this fast paced, high-tech industry, have effective consultative solution selling skills with strong written, interpersonal, oral and presentation skills and experience in large, complex end user sales.

The position demands the ability to identify and qualify enterprise sales opportunities at all levels from executive management level downwards throughout the decision making chain. The ability to penetrate new divisions and organizations within assigned accounts, using professional customer relationship management techniques to develop and maintain new business relationships, offer business proposals to prospective customers, create account management plans, and provide status reports to your business Director on a weekly basis.

Summary of Key Requirements:
  • Proven track record in successful consultative solution selling of Netapp, Sun, Dell, or HP Storage solutions and the complimentary software products such as Veritas, Oracle, Exchange, SQL, Clearcase etc. Into major UK organizations for a minimum of 3 years.
  • A working knowledge and understanding of storage protocols employed in these environments such as NFS, CIFS, FCP & iSCSI etc.
  • The applicant must be able to identify, prospect and qualify new sales opportunities.
  • Build and strengthen business relationship with prospective and existing customers.
  • Schedule and attend sales call appointments with prospective customers and be able to clearly identify the prospect’s key business issues.
  • Prepare with the Majenta technical team effective formal written sales proposals or presentations and deliver these professionally to prospective customers.
  • Employ an effective proposal closing strategy.
  • Maintain and develop on-going account management for future “add on” sales opportunities.

The successful applicant can be home based anywhere from Manchester Southwards but will be expected to travel to the company HQ in Brentwood approximately once a month.
