About You

As a 4D Visualisation Specialist, you must be passionate about BIM and Digital Construction. A team player who is eager to learn and passionate about the construction industry. You will be customer focused and great at forming new relationships with new and existing customers, helping to ensure they receive the best possible service.

The 4D specialist creates, develops, and maintains the 4D model throughout key milestones of a project, ranging from the pre-construction stage right the way through to handover and delivery. The key role is to demonstrate that the sequence of works, build methodology and site logistics align and correspond to the construction programme highlighting Physical and time clashes alongside opportunities.

You will come from an Architectural, Engineering or Construction background and understand why BIM is causing such a disruption in the Construction Industry. Using this passion and knowledge to lead our customers to the best industry solutions.

You will be expected to have at least 2+ years of experience working in a 4D or within a visualisation role. You will also be expected to have proven experience in the following software. Synchro 4D, 3DSMax, Navisworks and Revit.

It would be desirable if you have experience in model coordination within either Navisworks or Solibri.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Your role as a 4D Visualisation Specialist will primarily involve working and liaising with a variety of customers throughout the lifecycle of a project.

Duties will include:

• Linking project programmes with 3D design models using Synchro 4D.
• Working closely with Architectural, Design teams and Contractors to plan and visualise construction projects
• Modelling 3D geometry, phased logistics and temporary works to a brief using 3DSMax
• Create both static visualisations and animations using Synchro 4D and 3DSMax.
• Running ‘what if’ scenarios using Synchro against baseline models to identify programme opportunities.
• Running physical and time-based clash detection of design, logistics and temporary works against the programme using Synchro 4D.
• Post-production work in Adobe After Effects
• Train, develop and support project teams in the use of 4D
• Present to a wide range of stakeholders, including Site Teams, Suppliers and clients
• Be able to work to deadlines under your own supervision.
• Proactive team member, willing to learn and contribute to the wider Majenta team.
• Deliver better solutions directly to Clients and experience positive change to achieve personal and customer satisfaction.
• Marketing assistance to develop collateral across all forms of social media.
