BIM Coordinator

Reports to: Principal Consultant / Information Manager/ Information Manager
Location: Whitley Business Park, Scimitar Way, Coventry, CV3 4GA

About You

As an BIM Coordinator you must be passionate about BIM and Digital Construction. A team player, eager to learn and passionate about the construction industry. You will be customer focused and great at forming new relationships with new and existing customers, helping to ensure that they receive the best possible service.

You will come from an Architectural, Engineering or Construction background and understand why BIM is causing such a disruption in the Construction Industry. Using this passion and knowledge to lead our customers to the best industry solutions. It would be advantageous if you have first-hand experience in a client-side environment and understand their procedures & documents.

You will be expected to have at least 2+ years’ experience working in a BIM Coordinate or Junior BIM managers role. You will also be expected to have proven experience in the following software’s. Revit, Solibri or Navisworks & Microsoft office applications

Your Role & Responsibilities

Your role as BIM Coordinator will involve working and liaising with the complete construction supply chain through the lifecycle of a project assisting the Information Manager.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting BIM Documentation, Processes and Protocols for a variety of customers and projects.
  • Use Revit for modelling content & projects.
  • Use either Solibri or Navisworks for clash detection & Data checking.
  • Exporting & federating COBie spreadsheets for construction projects.
  • Auditing Project models for IS019650 Delivery.
  • Assisting and editing IS019650 project documentation with the Information Manager.
  • Attend and run Coordination / Audit meetings.
  • Assisting Information Management projects for a variety of clients.
  • Assisting presales meetings.
  • Ability to offer an excellent standard of customer service.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to work to deadlines under own supervision.
  • Proactive team member, willing to learn and contribute to the wider Majenta team.
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Marketing assistance to develop collateral across all forms of social media.
  • 4D experience is preferred but not essential.
