Project Manager

About You

This role would suit a project management professional with a strong technical industry background who is passionate about delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about project management, has a desire to lead a diverse range of projects and thrives on delivering an exceptional level of delivery. This project manager role is not just about managing projects, there is a strong focus on delivery methodologies and ensuring waste is removed from key processes. You will have the ability to understand, engage and influence the broader business at a more strategic level to achieve the growth goals for the business.

Skills required:

• Extensive experience of project delivery approaches (e.g. Agile)
• Developing and embedding ‘right-sized’ change delivery and governance (aligned to portfolio governance) to suit the project and stakeholder needs
• Development of current and emerging portfolio management techniques
• Identifying and monitoring and developing appropriate remedial plans for key project/programme performance (KPIs).
• Attention to detail, pragmatic – keeping the bigger picture in mind
• Able to take ownership and keep stakeholders up to date on progress / task completion
• Developing a pipeline/backlog of initiatives
• Understanding the corporate vision and strategy of the wider construction industry
• Excellent communicator

Your Role & Responsibilities

Reporting directly to board level, your role as Project Manager will involve working on a variety of projects large and small, delivering software and service solutions on time to our partners, whilst ensuring to report key performance drivers throughout each project.

Duties will include:

• Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Work with Operational deliver manager(s) to identify technical resources and assign appropriate project responsibilities
• Maintain an excellent standard of customer service
• Manage day-to-day reporting aspects of the project(s) e.g. budget, resource health
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored/shared
• Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient communication and implementation of the project(s) to ensure expectations are met and delivered
• Understand basic revenue models; meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, capacity planning, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions
• Submit project status reports to key stakeholders; review change requests, anticipate and react to change
• Be able to work to deadlines under own supervision.
• Proactive team member, willing to learn and contribute to the wider business strategy
• Support the business development team with prospects including technical qualification, preparation, scope of works and delivery of effective demonstrations and technical presentations
