The Kingston University Town House Building
Willmott Dixon
Approx £16million (total build value)
Majenta provided BIM expertise to support Willmott Dixon’s delivery of a new university building; The ‘Town House’ is a striking six-storey presence on Penrhyn Road (London), acting as both a welcoming front door to Kingston University and an impressive physical symbol of learning and community experiences.
To provide more study space, improved layout and facilities, including lots of natural light. It was essential that all necessary information for maintenance was provided to the FM team.
Majenta worked with Kingston University to ensure that clear information requirements were set out from the beginning for all team members and that the business goals were achievable.
The university received a fully compliant model containing all required information for the FM team. The model had an integrated digital O&M manual, which could easily be updated using access databases
