Description

Majenta Solutions and BIMobject® proudly present the BIMscript® Academy

This free to attend two-day accredited course will be held on the 28th and 29th September 2017 at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), Anstey Park, Coventry.

**DEMAND IS EXPECTED TO BE HIGH AND PLACES WILL BE ALLOCATED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS**

From mechanical CAD to intelligent BIM objects

The BIMscript® Academy allows you to obtain accreditation in the use of BIMscript® & LENA – a plugin that lets users create parametric BIM objects. Participants learn how to master BIMscript® & LENA for Rhino and Autodesk Fusion in a unique 2-day seminar led by experts from both BIMobject® and Majenta Solutions.

BIMscript® & LENA opens up a whole new world of opportunities. Content developers and internal mechanical CAD departments can develop their own content for most BIM platforms using a single script. The business model is also favourable for smaller developers. All can produce multi-usable content with rich properties in many languages, whilst needing only one license for Rhino/Fusion and LENA. With BIMscript® & LENA for Rhino/Fusion, you will be able to build BIM objects for ArchiCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Vectorworks, as well as static file formats such as IFC, DWG, and 3DS.

The software BIMscript® & LENA is free of charge to users. The files created can be subsequently published in the BIMobject® Cloud.

Join the BIMscript® Academy to:

• Learn and exchange knowledge and ideas for the future.

• Gain access to the BIMobject forum and our Wiki.

• Gain certified accreditation to use BIMscript® & LENA in your own projects or for your own clients (brand owners pay publishing fees when their objects are published in the BIMobject® Cloud).

• Upon request, receive a free hidden project cloud to build your own limited-access catalogue (for non-profit, demonstration, test, and education purposes).

Participants will benefit from having one or more of the following skills:

• Working with BIM or BIM object creation in any type of BIM/CAD software.
• Working with 3D modelling tools for object and model creation.
• Working as an engineer with mechanical CAD software or Rhino in a mechanical production environment.

Technical requirements:

You will be required to bring your own computing device with a trial version of Rhinocerous 5 and Autodesk Fusion installed – both are free to download and use for a limited period. Further information will be issued with the joining instructions.

Registration:

Once you have registered, you will receive an email with joining instructions, a list of recommended software programs, and installation support. You register simply by clicking on the link below.

Logistics:
