Is the lack of a central data repository hindering collaboration and increasing the risk of errors?

A Common Data Environment (CDE) provides a structured approach to managing information throughout a project's lifecycle. In this webinar, host Sam Lissaman will be joined by Scott Pullar, Principal Consultant in Digital Construction at Majenta. During the interactive session, they’ll explore best practices for implementing and utilising a CDE to improve collaboration, enhance data control, and ensure compliance with industry standards, including:

• The core functions of a CDE, including document control, approvals, versioning, and audit trails

• Ensuring CDE compliance with ISO 19650, focusing on information structure and data security

• Best practices for structuring data within a CDE, including organising files and metadata

• Implementing collaborative workflows using CDEs to facilitate seamless stakeholder interaction

• Choosing the right CDE platform for your needs, evaluating tools like Autodesk BIM 360, Asite, Viewpoint, and Dalux, and overcoming training, and integration issues

• CDE implementation across different project types and sectors, including higher education, high-tech & data centres, healthcare, commercial projects, central government initiatives (MOD, MOJ, DIO, RAF), critical infrastructure (water & utilities, nuclear, energy & power), and transport infrastructure (highways, rail).
