BIM across the full project lifecycle
If BIM support only covers one phase of a project, gaps soon appear elsewhere. Majenta supports BIM from early strategy through to model production, coordination and handover, as one continuous service.
Construction projects generate huge volumes of BIM information: drawings, schedules, revisions, and approvals, moving between dozens of organisations. Architects, engineers, contractors and other specialists produce models and data at different times and to different standards. Getting all that information to work as one coherent picture is rarely a software issue. It's a process and coordination problem.
Majenta provides BIM services across the life of a project: managing project information, producing and coordinating models, running clash detection and model reviews, and supporting BIM implementation from initial strategy through to day-to-day delivery. And where needed, we provide the BIM specialists who run these processes directly. One partner, for the full project lifecycle.

BIM means different things depending on who you ask – a modelling exercise to some, an information standard to others, or just a software licence to many consultancies. It can be hard to know what you're actually buying.
With Majenta, it’s straightforward: getting the right information, in the right format, to the people who need to act on it. We support projects with modelling, coordination, information management and the processes behind it all, from consultancy to handover and beyond.
If BIM support only covers one phase of a project, gaps soon appear elsewhere. Majenta supports BIM from early strategy through to model production, coordination and handover, as one continuous service.
If no one controls who owns project information, which version is correct or whether it meets requirements, models and coordination stop being reliable. That's the discipline Majenta builds every BIM service around.
Often, advice and execution come from two different suppliers, creating inefficiencies. We join the dots, providing the Information Managers, BIM Managers and coordinators who deliver what we've recommended.
In sectors like nuclear, water, energy and data centres, poor information control carries higher consequences than in general construction. Our BIM teams work across these environments regularly, continually updating their knowledge and skills.
Talk to Majenta. We’ll give you a clear picture of where we can add value and which services best address your needs.
BIM support is often sold as a technology service. In reality, it’s more about coordination. Software is a key ingredient, but the real value is making sure the information a project produces is correct, coordinated and reaches the people who need it, in a form they can actually use.
At Majenta, we work towards that outcome rather than around the software. Our objective isn't only to produce technically impressive models, dashboards or reports: it's to ensure the quality of the digital information that helps project teams design, coordinate and construct a building more effectively.
One team keeping every discipline's model aligned.
Based on real-world buildability, not just a list of conflicts.
Strategy shaped by people who've actually run the process.
Conflicts resolved in the model, not discovered on site.
Controlling the information every BIM process actually runs on.
BIM standards implemented, then managed through rollout.
Records that match what's been built and stay updated.
Built from the information you have, however limited.
Sequencing tested against the programme, not just the model.
BIM management and coordination is often treated as a checklist: agree a BIM Execution Plan, set some standards, and let the project get on with it. In practice, that's where problems start. Every discipline's model needs to work from the same file structure, the same standards, and the same version of the truth – and on a live project, all three are constantly moving.
Without proactive management, that drift causes delays and cost overruns. Design and construction teams end up working with information and models that are already out of date, so inconsistencies and errors start showing up on site.
That's why we don't stop at writing the plan. On many projects, we become an extension of the contractor's own team – running these processes rather than simply advising on how they should be run, and acting as the day-to-day point of contact on BIM matters between design teams, the contractor and the client.
BIM modelling servicesOn new builds, model production can be relatively straightforward, but on projects involving existing assets or infrastructure, the source information is often incomplete. That’s where Majenta specialises: taking the information that’s actually available – consultant models, 2D drawings, or legacy documentation – resolving inconsistencies or conflicts, augmenting it with surveys or laser scanning to fill gaps, and producing a 3D or 4D model that can be trusted.
But that’s only part of the picture. Coordination is what makes that model useful to a project, not just accurate in isolation. First, understanding the purpose – design development, construction coordination, or installation – and making sure the model is actually built to suit it. Then, keeping that model coordinated with other disciplines as a project progresses.
That’s why we don’t just hand over a model once it’s built. We also provide the people to keep it coordinated over the project lifecycle: managing versions and controlling alignment for as long as the model is in use.
3D modelling servicesInformation Management is the cornerstone of our BIM services. Modelling, coordination, clash detection and 4D all depend on the underlying data being managed correctly. So effective IM is more than just document administration: it’s controlling all of the information that projects depend on.
In practice, it comes down to consistently answering critical questions. Who owns this piece of information? Which version of this model is current? Who has to approve these changes? Is every subcontractor on the project working from the same data? Majenta provides the structure and governance which make that possible, certified to ISO 19650: the international standard for managing information over the lifecycle of a built asset using BIM.
Rather than just advising on what good practice looks like, we can also provide the experts to run a client or contractor's IM function day-to-day. That can mean establishing and operating a project's Common Data Environment, defining information workflows, or managing the exchange of models and documents between organisations – whatever’s needed for successful delivery.
Information Management servicesThe simple view of clash detection is using software to review a model and generate a list of conflicts to address. But in isolation, that’s not a particularly useful output. The real value is in what happens next. Identifying what interfaces and clashes exist, and where, is just the start of a broader coordination process.
Majenta takes ownership of conflict reports from detection through resolution: reviewing the underlying information, federating discipline-specific models, assessing what the clashes mean for the project, and communicating with design and construction teams to agree on and implement resolutions before construction.
This approach means coordination problems are not just identified early, but resolved in the model: before they become rework, delays, or disputes on site.
Model coordination servicesMechanical, electrical and plumbing systems often create bottlenecks because of tight tolerances and complex subcontractor and trade scheduling. Even minor errors in MEP coordination can create knock-on effects that derail a project schedule and result in significant time and cost overruns.
This is especially true on technically demanding projects: nuclear, data centres, healthcare and other environments where dense services and strict regulatory requirements leave little room for coordination problems surviving into construction. On these projects, MEP coordination has to be more than a conflict-checking exercise; it requires a broader understanding of the reality on site: the buildability of systems, the sequencing of installations and the way different disciplines work.
That’s where Majenta adds real value. Our MEP teams aren’t just software experts; they have hands-on experience working with contractors and trades on real-world projects. We embed that expertise within your teams to support projects from design through to handover.
MEP coordination servicesA BIM strategy either becomes something a project team actually uses, or a document that gets filed away and never read again. What makes the difference is effective BIM implementation and project support.
Majenta manages the practical side of this – setting up the standards, processes and requirements a project needs, from BIM Execution Plans and model checking through to digital delivery strategy – and then stays involved to make sure they're followed. We don’t just write the plan; we own it and deliver it.
BIM implementation and supportMajenta works with clients and contractors across the full span of construction projects: education, healthcare, commercial, residential and public-sector construction. But we add the most value on highly technical, highly complex projects where information quality is crucial to on-time, on-budget delivery. We Provide the strategy, services and people to see projects through from initial planning to handover, and into operations.
On nuclear sector projects, security and safety tolerances are non-negotiable. Majenta provides the disciplined coordination and traceability needed to manage complex MEP installations, tight scheduling and multiple subcontractor interfaces.
In the water sector, ageing infrastructure and incomplete historical records mean the first challenge on most projects is understanding what you're actually working with. Majenta combines laser scanning, Scan-to-BIM and structured asset information to give projects a reliable starting point.
Energy sector projects involve technically demanding infrastructure, where asset information and lifecycle data matter well beyond handover. Majenta structures and maintains that information so it stays usable long after construction ends – supporting operators who need to draw on it for maintenance, compliance and future works.
The dense mechanical and electrical systems in data centre builds mean MEP coordination and IM carry real operational weight: a missed clash risks downtime, not just delay. Our teams own the models and data to ensure issues are resolved before they reach a live environment.
Rather than picking from a list of services, talk to Majenta about your next project, and we’ll advise on the best engagement model.
