Digital Construction Account Manager

About the role
We’re looking for a high-energy, self-motivated Account Manager who thrives on building meaningful customer relationships and driving growth from within. You’ll be someone who brings passion, commercial focus, and a genuine belief in the value of digital construction.
This is a role for a natural farmer — someone who knows how to grow key accounts, uncover needs, and deliver long-term impact without losing sight of targets and outcomes.
We work with a wide range of Tier 1 contractors including Galliford Try, Tilbury Douglas, Kier, and Balfour Beatty, and we’re looking for someone who understands how to engage and influence in that world — and enjoys doing it.
You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening strategic contractor relationships, driving digital transformation, and expanding our footprint — while also spotting and pursuing new opportunities that align with our growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
• Grow and retain key contractor accounts (approx. 75% focus) through consistent, value-driven engagement.
• Identify new opportunities within existing customers and build multi-stakeholder relationships that deliver measurable business impact.
• Ensure renewal and expansion of key services through ongoing account development and proactive communication.
• Become a trusted voice within your accounts — driving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term results.
• Spot and qualify new business opportunities (approx. 25% focus), using your network, marketing support, and industry insight.
• Represent Majenta at industry events and on digital platforms like LinkedIn to elevate your profile and ours.
• Own your pipeline — with accurate forecasting and disciplined CRM hygiene (we use Salesforce).
• Collaborate across marketing, delivery, and technical teams to shape compelling proposals and winning customer solutions.
About you
You’re not just commercially minded — you’re customer obsessed. You bring energy, focus, and a genuine desire to help your clients succeed. You’re comfortable in a fast-moving environment, you love being part of a high-performing team, and you know how to hit the ground running.
• Proven background in solution-based B2B sales — ideally within construction tech, BIM, or information management.
• Experience managing and expanding strategic accounts in the AEC or Tier 1 contractor space.
• Confidence and credibility with both operational teams and senior decision-makers.
• Strong consultative sales skills — you ask great questions, listen well, and deliver value.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Organised and disciplined — you know how to run a pipeline and a customer meeting.
• Comfortable using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to track activity and outcomes.
Bonus if you bring:
• Strong network within Tier 1 contractors.
• Experience with robust account governance and account development post-sale
• Familiarity with digital construction, and or ISO 19650 requirements
