We have been asked several times about linking geometry with a Yes/No parameter and how to switch between the visibility. For example making one geometry visible will automatically make the other geometry invisible.

  1. Create a Yes/No parameter for each geometry.
  2. In Rect On add formula to link the Yes/No tick box with Circle On.
  3. When Circle On is unticked then Rect On will be unticked.

4.  Then to switch between Poly On and Circle On add the formula for Poly On.
5.  Now when Circle On is unticked Poly On will be ticked.

Please note that a parameter can’t be made an instance parameter if the parameter is associated with a formula.
