Who's it for?

  • Building Product Manufacturers
  • Contractors
  • Owner Operators

BIMobject and Majenta Solutions are proud to announce our first UK Conference where we will be discussing the importance of integrating manufacture into the BIM Process.

The event will give attendees real insight into the world of BIM and Digital Construction, and the roles manufacturers have to play on helping digitise the industry. The information provided by manufacturers is crucial to the industry and is changing how buildings are being designed, built, managed and maintained. This event has been designed to help manufacturers understand why their information is important and how this information can be delivered directly into the BIM processes.

Why Attend?

On the day we will have several industry-leading guest speakers, technology exhibits where you can experience Virtual and Augmented Reality, 3D Scanning and more, along with presentations from both BIMobject and Majenta.

There will also be a prize draw at the end of the day where each attendee will have the chance to win 1 of 2 Supercar Experiences at Silverstone, where you can drive the BMW M2, a Ferrari F430 Coupe and the BRAND NEW Aston Martin Vantages!

Alex Lubbock – Head of Digital Construction at Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA)

Alex works with departments on embedding BIM Level 2 and laying the groundwork for further digital adoption across the public sector. Previously Alex was head of BIM implementation for Carillion and he remains an advocate in the development of digital adoption across the industry.

Keith Waller – Programme Director at Transforming Construction Alliance

A Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Keith has been involved in construction and infrastructure projects for over 30 years, leading many major projects in both the UK and overseas. A keen advocate of driving innovative and productive solutions, his work in government led to the publication of the UK’s first National Infrastructure Plan, the development of the Infrastructure Cost Review and the IPA’s Transforming Infrastructure Performance programme, published in 2017.

Bill Price – Director of WSP UK

Bill worked on the Shard from design development to completion in 2012. Currently, Bill is delivering solutions for Network Rail and TfL, a major office and retail development at Paddington and a new stadium for Chelsea FC. Bill is responsible for the client management function within WSP, which involves driving connectivity and growth across disciplines and UK offices.

Bill will be discussing “Data, mapping and site finding in the rail environment.” Bill will discuss how homes and other mixed-use use regeneration can be enabled through the development of land over and around rail infrastructure. The opportunities for off-site manufacture, prefabrication and modularisation will be described together with the digital methods and systems which support this approach.

Richard Crosby – Director blacc Ltd

Richard founded blacc Ltd five years ago to specialise in efficient Construction Management and Project Leadership of major projects. Blacc has successfully helped to deliver programmes such as the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the Department for Education’s off-site component frameworks. Richard also sits on the government’s cross-departmental working group advising on off-site construction methods.

Richard will be discussing “Production led construction: Putting the theory into practice.”

Alongside our Guest Speakers, we will also have presentations from BIMobject Directors including David Jellings – UK Managing Director, Michael Schwartz – Sales Director: Nordics, Netherlands and UK and Matt Jackson – Global Technical Director: Digital Buildings, and Sam Lissman – Digital Construction Account Manager at Majenta.
