Kent and Medway Medical School

Client

Willmott Dixon

Project Value

Approx £10million (total build value)

Following the successful delivery of the Kennedy Building in 2019, Willmott Dixon delivered a ‘first of its kind’ multi-use building featuring a 150-seat lecture theatre, seminar rooms, IT suites, social spaces and a GP simulation suite. Majenta was brought on board again as Information Manager, working successfully with some of the same project teams as before.

Customer Challenge:

An expanding curriculum required a purpose-built space, the future maintenance of which depended on key information being accurately supplied to the FM team.

The Majenta Solution:

Building on previous success, Majenta worked alongside Willmott Dixon and their consultants to ensure the client deliverables were obtained and provided in the standards and methods the university required. Majenta worked with the university to ensure that they once again captured all of the FM team’s requirements for future building maintenance.

Business Impacts:

The university received a fully compliant model that contained all the required information for the FM team. The model had an integrated digital O&M manual which could easily be updated using access databases.

One of the things I like about working with Majenta is after we've told the customer - 'We're putting Majenta on this project,' and they say, 'That's great. We're glad you've got Majenta'.
