ITW Deltar, a German-based Tier 1 supplier of electric vehicle (EV) charge port housings to Nissan, faced significant challenges in meeting Nissan's stringent data exchange requirements. While proficient in their core design and manufacturing processes using Catia V5, ITW Deltar struggled to bridge the gap between their native CAD system and Nissan's mandated use of Siemens NX. This incompatibility created a potential bottleneck in their workflow.

The lack of seamless integration with Nissan's Teamcenter system (TCP3) and its strict data formatting and submission protocols, and the need to directly accept design-related CAD data from Nissan Japan added significant complexity to the data management process. CAD translation
