Project Context

Tristone faced significant challenges in managing CAD data exchange across its geographically dispersed operations. With Catia V5 as their primary CAD system, Tristone needed to seamlessly integrate with Nissan's Siemens NX environment. This incompatibility, coupled with Nissan's specific data formatting, numbering policies, and the intricacies of their Teamcenter system, created a complex data management hurdle. As Nissan held design authority for hose and tube routing, Tristone was required to efficiently receive and process design-related CAD data directly from Nissan — and adhering to Nissan's strict modelling practices, including the Paperless Model, added another layer of complexity.

Tristone recognised the need for a centralised and streamlined solution to ensure data consistency, compliance, and timely project delivery across all their manufacturing locations.
