Keep your kids’ minds active this Easter with our Car of the Future challenge. You can enter too!
This Easter, it’s safe to say that most of your adventures will happen in the house. You’re probably looking for a way to keep everyone entertained – and we’ve got one! Take a look at your car, out there on the driveway, hibernating. Doesn’t it look a bit…present day?
We want you to design the high-tech futuristic awesome-mobile (or fuel–efficient SUV with modular seating if you’re really that grown-up) that you’d like to drive away when this is all over. You can enter as well as your kids. We want to hear from everyone!
The winners will receive their very own J award!
What do I have to do?
Design the Car of the Future. You can do this however you want to.
DRAW IT – PAINT IT – BUILD IT OUT OF RECYCLING – DESIGN IT ON A COMPUTER

- Secret superpower
But, what does the car of the future mean?
Whatever you want it to mean. Is there something you’ve always thought your car should have? What do you think all cars will have in 2040? Here are some ideas:
- What is its engine powered by?
- What safety feature will make your car the safest ride on the motorway?
- What makes your car’s cabin so much fun to ride in?
- Or ANYTHING ELSE you can think of.

Take a photo of your design, or save it if you’ve used software.

Entries close: 5pm on Tues 14th April
So, dust off your flipcharts. Sharpen those pencils. Fire up that laptop. Unclump that plasticine. Find the end of that masking tape. Locate the good marker pen that has actually had its lid clicked on so the ink hasn’t dried out.
