It has become a tradition for Majenta to support a charity nominated by staff members at Christmas and this year is no exception. This Christmas, Majenta will be supporting 5 Charities; Air Ambulance, Help for Heroes, Parkinson’s UK, Ronald McDonald House and The Rainbow Trust.

The Air Ambulance Service operates the national Children’s Air Ambulance and the local air ambulance services for Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Help for Heroes

Help for Heroes is a charity dedicated to helping wounded service personnel and their loved ones to rebuild their lives. They offer them physical, psychological, career, financial and welfare support for as long as they need it. As well as also support their families, because they too can be affected by their loved one’s wounds.

Globally, the Ronald McDonald House Charities programs support families by providing stability and the vital resources they need to focus on what’s most important – their child. The organisation supports family-centred care by enhancing the child and family’s hospital experience, providing families with emotional and physical comfort and support, and improving the family’s coping and cohesion during the child’s recovery.

The Rainbow Trust, nominated by Ed Lawrence.

Rainbow Trust supports families who have a child aged 0-18 years with a life-threatening or terminal illness and need the bespoke support we offer.

Rainbow Trust supports these families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness and are in the greatest need. Their Family Support Workers provide a lifeline to these families and children. They work to support the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents. They bring support and help to families who so desperately need it at home, in hospital and in the community. Any family can receive support from the moment of their child or young person’s diagnosis.
